Physician Information

Derek J. E. Luney, M.D., FACC After receiving his undergraduate from Guilford College, Dr. Luney went on to complete his masters in Physiology, and then earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. His internal medicine internship and residency were completed at the University of Alabama. Dr. Luney served as Chief Vascular Fellow while finishing his fellowship at the University of Alabama. He is board certified in Cardiology with special interests in cardiac ultrasound and diagnostic cardiac catheterization.
