| Carl Lomboy, M.D., FACC Dr. Lomboy began his college education as an early admissions student after his junior year of high school. After completing a year at Ursinus College in Pennsylvania, he transferred to the University of Virginia where he earned his undergraduate and medical degree. Dr. Lomboy’s internship was completed at The University of Connecticut Health Center. He then went on to complete internal medicine residency at the Allentown Affiliated Hospitals in Allentown, PA. While fulfilling his cardiology fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital, Dr. Lomboy served as Interventional Cardiology Fellow then Chief Cardiology Fellow before joining Hickory Cardiology Associates in 1993. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Interventional Cardiology. His special interests include cardiac ultrasound, cardiac catheterization and is completing training for treatment of Peripheral Vascular Disease. | |
